We are starting our persuasive paper on Egypt with a little research today.  Since many students need a tune-up with regards to proper research we spend most of the hour working through an example.  Following the "Bubble gum" example the students were set loose to research and come up with examples and quotations about their topic. 

Bell-ringer:  What were the northern and southern boundaries of Upper Egypt?

Homework:  Study for map quiz on Wednesday.
