Egypt test today. Student played basketball review yesterday and did well. Hopefully that transfers to their test today and we see some fantastic results.
Bell-ringer: None Homework: None As we well know last week did not go as planned. So, we will be doing the basketball review today. Also any make-up quizzes or pyramid projects will be done today. There is a TEST tomorrow, it will be over Egypt.
Bell-ringer: What was your favorite thing you did this Thanksgiving? Homework: Egypt test tomorrow, better study. Basketball review today! We have a test tomorrow so students are getting a review today.
No bell-ringer. Homework: Study for test. Pyramid Day! Students first took their map quiz and turned in their homework. Following those housekeeping activities each student who brought a pyramid made a short oral presentation on it.

Bell-ringer: What are the seven characteristics of a civilization? Homework: Food, Drink and Farming Cartouche day! Students are making a cartouche out of papyrus and then writing their name in hieroglyphics. So far they are having fun.
Bell-ringer: Write your name in hieroglyphics. Homework: Study your map and build your pyramid. We finished the KWL's from the beginning of the Egypt unit. This is a great study tool as it covers the 7 characteristics of a civilization.

Bell-ringer: What does reign mean? Homework: Work on project and study map. Today is a short day so we are doing a short lesson. Students will be looking up vocabulary words in the book. These words will help enrich their knowledge of Egypt.
