The goal is to finish Rome in time for the last week of school shenanigans.  In order to do that today, you guessed it, we are taking notes.  Notes are over Education and slaves including the slave revolt led by Spartacus.

Yesterday we had a substitute.  Today we are going to view the giant map of Asia.  The person in charge of the map has some activities for the students to do.  We have already covered Asia in class so the students should have a pretty good grasp of the material.

We talked about the Skill of how to read a Cartogram.  We read pages 490-491 in the book and had a pop-quiz.

Thursday
We are continuing notes on Rome.  Today we are talking about Rome's first dictator, the dichotomy between rich and poor and the crisis in agriculture.
