Map quiz. We are also going to finish talking about the Punic Wars.
Bell-ringer: What are you doing this weekend? Homework: None. We are getting into the government of Rome today. It is a lot of information but the students will only be responsible for a small portion. Map quiz is this Friday.
Bell-ringer: What is the food supply of Rome? Homework: Study for map quiz. We will be talking about the food supply and geography of Rome today.
Bell-ringer: What country is inside of Rome? Homework: Study map and "Where was Ancient Rome?" We are starting Rome today. The students are going to be completing a map of Rome. Also I will be passing out the next map for the map quiz on Friday.
Bell-ringer: Which modern day country is Rome in? Homework: Study map. Word search today. Since Mr. Robb had surgery on his foot this week I was able to talk about the Mayans, Aztecs and Incas yesterday.
Bell-ringer: What did you learn about the Aztecs? No homework. We have a day and a half to introduce the students to the three civilizations of America: Aztecs, Incas and Mayans. I am starting off with two short videos that talk briefly about each of them. At the end of the hour we will discuss how they were alike and different.
