My apologies for the lack of updates.  Things have been a little hectic here on the school front.  The students recently started their create a civilization project.  In the up-coming weeks students will be updating this website with information about their society.

We are reviewing notes on Roman religion including the introduction of Judaism and Christianity.  We are also finishing notes on technology and art.

Bell-ringer:  How did the movie differ from the myth?

Homework:  Monumental Math worksheet.

We watched Hercules.  The students seemed to enjoy it.  At least they did to me.  No homework.

We are watching the movie Hercules today.  Students read the myth yesterday so it's movie time today. 

Bell-ringer:  Who has been your favorite person in mythology so far?  Why?

Homework:  None.

Hercules.  The students read a graphic novel (comic book) on the twelve labors of Hercules.  Some seemed to enjoy it. 

Bell-ringer:  What was the fate of Early Christians in Rome?

Homework:  None.

Map quiz and finish government notes.  We also finished notes on the religion of Rome.

Bell-ringer:  What was Pax Romana.

Homework:  None.
