Test make-ups and cultural movie on China.
Bell-ringer: What did you do this weekend that was fun yet legal? Homework: Study for map quiz on Friday. Last information on China will be delivered today. We will be reading a short paper on the art of China. Following that we will be participating in a Barter game. The students will get items that they "made." They will then have to trade their items for items on their list. This has proved to be a very enjoyable exercise in the past.
Bell-ringer: What is the social structure of China? Homework: Study. Social structure today. We will be filling out some notes and then the students will get a few minutes to work on their study guide or organize their notebook.
Bell-ringer: What is the government of China? Homework: Study Happy Chinese New Year! The students will be making some traditional Chinese New Year items today. In addition the students will be getting a study guide, notebook checklist and the next map quiz.
Bell-ringer: What is the food supply of China? Homework: Study for both the upcoming China test and map quiz. Map quiz! Following that we will do a timeline exercise where the students cut out a jumble up timeline, rearrange it and then answer a few questions.
Bell-ringer: What is the technology of China? Homework: None. We will be reading and completing the blue books on the technology of China. After that we will be watching a short video on the great wall.
Bell-ringer: Which of China's technologies is the most important? Homework: Silk Road and study. Technology today. Students will write a few notes and then read the blue booklets for more information on China's technology.
Bell-ringer: What is the written language of China? Homework: Study for map quiz. I hope everyone had a nice three day weekend and stayed warm. We will be finishing notes on religion and moving into written language.
